Spirit Lake Arts Sauk County Art Association has rebranded, taking inspiration from the Baraboo area. SCAA members ch Art annual exhibition to celebrate Earth Day

The Spirit Lake Arts supports and promotes the arts in the following ways"

*Annual Fine Art and Fine Crafts Festival held on the Sauk County Courthouse Square in downtown Baraboo, WI

*Annual scholarship to a continuing art student at the University of Wisconsin -
Baraboo/Sauk County

*Annual grants of $600.00 each to two county high school art departments on a rotating basis (there are five high

schools in Sauk County)

*Annual themed member exhibit and sale (plus membership drive)

*Annual recognition dinner for members and volunteers

*Over the years, the SCAA now Spirit Lake Arts, has purchased a major art collection on display in the Sauk County Courthouse in Baraboo, WI

Olivia Poelmann - Printer and Rebecca Wilson - Fiber bring their work to the 61st ArtJune Art Fair - Saturday, June 20th on the Courthouse Lawn in Downtown Baraboo, Wisconsin. They join 50 other artisans showing and selling their work. ArtJune is sponsored by the Spirit Lake Arts a group of art abd craft makers, people loving art, and those supporting local Artisans doing what they love to do. There will be Artist, Artisans, Musicans, Food Trucks, Family activities and a Farmers Market. Make sure you visit the Great Day Building on the corner of Oak and 3rd for more artisans and activities.

Joining our ArtJune 2026 entertainment lineup is none other than ShandiniMagic! Stationed on the corner of 3rd & Oak, just outside The Vault - Baraboo, The Great Shandini will be performing every half hour between 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Folks of all ages are guaranteed to be wowed by the magic of The Great Shandini!

Hailing from Central Wisconsin, Shandini got his start street performing (busking). After honing his craft, he is now performing on stages all across the country. As a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians with over 20 years in the magical arts, Shandini is available for fair and festival shows, stage shows, parlour shows, walk around magic, renaissance festivals, lane work, strolling magic, street performing, busking, birthdays, parties, corporate events, themed shows, pirate magic shows, or anything in between.

Performing locally in Wisconsin at events such as: Summerfest, Piratefest, A Gathering of Rogues and Ruffians Renaissance Faire, and more. Shandini is coming from and going to places few have ventured, and even fewer have returned. Whether he is performing magic, juggling machetes, or reading your mind, his family-friendly style will bring the excitement and skill needed to make your next event a memorable one.

Megan Barry - Jeweler - Mazzy Bijoux and Mike Dais - Woodworker - Mike's Wood join the Spirit Lake Arts ArtJune Art Fair on Saturday, June 20 on the Courthouse Lawn & Great Day Building in Downtown Baraboo, Wisconsin. 50 + Artisans build the work to show and sell from 9am to 4pm. There will be Musicians playing their original music. Food Trucks. The Baraboo Children's Museum. Chalk Artist. And a Farmers Market. Plan on spending the entire with us!

This year at ArtJune, Spirit Lake Arts wanted to feature something unique for our artists and patrons. Please give a warm welcome to Gary Frisch and his poetic stylings to the ArtJune Stage!

Gary Frisch is a Baraboo native who is a retired English teacher. He also created and published a JYMS literary journal, Audacious Muse. Gary has a creative writing masters degree from Wilkes University and has had many poems published throughout the years. Now though, he is more known for his music and songwriting, so he is excited to share his poetry again.

Gary and his band, "Gary Frisch and the Truth" will be hosting and open mic and jam following ArtJune at Brothers On Oak from 6-9PM. Be sure to drop in, join in the fun, and hear Gary and co. crank it up a notch!
