Years before embarking on a songwriting career in Nashville and Los Angeles the Mears Brothers learned to play their instruments in their blue collar home in Racine Wisconsin. Their Dad, Tom Mears Sr. taught them to play a long list of traditional Irish and American folks songs. Tommy, Jim & John Mears are so excited to be able to dust off some of those traditional songs from their past at the Bagpipes in the Glen event....

We’re hopeful changing travel restrictions will allow John Sayer to fly to the states from England to attend the Bagpipes at the Glen event. John and his brother Pete (who owns a home in Nashville) will be joining the Mears Brothers on the road trip from Nashville to Baraboo..
In addition to the wonderful music they will be sharing, the Sayer Brothers have so many interesting stories to tell about their years in Scotland, England and Germany...
