Despite her "thrilled" look, it was gorgeous tonight.
Tide is too low to dip in so I get to draw. I got to use my grandmother's (or great grandfather's) Dolphin fountain pen. Seems appropriate in a way but quite challenging. No erasing, for this girl who adores her eraser collection quite a feat.

Meet Liz Cutler, a dedicated artist and educator whose work is deeply inspired by the natural beauty of Mount Desert Island. As the founder of ArtWaves, Liz has been instrumental in fostering a vibrant arts community, offering classes and workshops in various mediums, including oil painting, glass, fiber, and printmaking.

Liz's artistic journey is influenced by the contrasts and reflections found in the landscapes surrounding Acadia National Park. Her paintings often capture moments that invite viewers to linger and experience the inherent beauty of these natural scenes.

With a B.A. in Painting from Swain School of Design and a Master's from Heartwood College of Art, Liz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her teaching. She continues her practice through figure drawing, workshops, and critiques, working from her personal studio at the ArtWaves farmhouse.

Join Liz in her upcoming classes at ArtWaves and explore your creativity under her expert guidance. Whether you're interested in mosaic art, printing, or other mediums, Liz's workshops offer a supportive environment for artists of all levels.

Stay tuned for more updates on Liz's classes and workshops, and don't miss the opportunity to learn from one of MDI's passionate artists and educators.

Feeling cozy this evening, carding some of Rugos fur to felt with. I keep thinking of making bowls from it, felted dog bowls.(nothing like a goldendoodle, especially ours!) I sat by the fire for some slow stitching on a piece I wet felted when I was tempted by the new colors .
Maybe a sketchbook cover will emerge?
