This morning, early elementary students filled the seats of the Criterion for a free matinee of Cabinet of Wonder, and we wish everyone could have heard the 500 young voices singing with Miss Natalie!
Natalie Merchant created Cabinet of Wonder to share the magic of nursery rhymes, music, and make-believe with young children. Seeing young faces light up is exactly why we’re here: to create space for connection, shared experiences, and joy for everyone on Mount Desert Island, no matter their age.
None of it would have happened without the Harper House Music Foundation who made today completely free for every student and teacher. Thanks to WABI TV5 for joining us.
If the day left you wanting more, join us Sunday, October 11 at 11am for a free community screening of Cabinet of Wonder. Details at criteriontheatre.org
