Okay, okay... we know it's only June. But if you're a hand-painted art business, Christmas prep starts WAY sooner than anyone realizes! 😂

We've been busy working on custom ornaments and special commission pieces, and honestly... we're kind of obsessed with how they're turning out.

From meaningful hometown keepsakes and service-inspired pieces to adorable woodland friends, every ornament is hand-painted with care and made to tell a story. ❤️

Christmas will be here before we know it, and we're already getting a head start one brushstroke at a time. 🎨🎄

🎨🍬 A Sweet Commission Close to Our Hearts! 🍬🎨

We were honored to create this hand-painted watercolor of Oh, Grow Up one of downtown Bangor’s newest and most colorful small businesses! 💙🧡

This piece is especially meaningful to us because Conroy has been part of the Oh, Grow Up! family since they first opened their doors. Watching this business bring joy to the community and become a downtown favorite has been incredible—and getting to capture it in paint made this commission extra special.

From the candy-filled shelves to the whimsical charm that makes the shop so unique, we wanted every brushstroke to celebrate a place that means so much to so many people.

Thank you for trusting The Maine Doods with this project. We absolutely loved bringing this sweet little Bangor gem to life! 🍭✨
