π‘οΈ Heat Advisory: Stay Cool, Bangor
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory in effect Monday and Tuesday for Bangor and surrounding areas. Temperatures will climb into the 90s with heat index values in the upper 90s β and some spots could reach 100 degrees F. Little relief is expected overnight, with lows in the upper 60s.
The Bangor Community Action Team will be out distributing water and directing people to cooling shelters (listed below).
Please stay hydrated, limit time in the sun, and never leave children or pets in a parked car.
