The inaugural Johns Hopkins Film Contest and Festival. We were so happy to welcome such stellar young filmmakers to Baltimore, and we look forward to keeping in touch with them in the future! Our first year offered workshops by Hollywood screenwriter (and JHU alum, 2012) Emma Needell, Head of Development for Big Breakfast (and JHU alum, 2013) Luke Kelly-Clyne, and JHU faculty member, John Mann! It also featured SIX programs of outstanding student work by 28 filmmakers, meet and greet events, and lots of opportunities to learn about all that Baltimore has to offer as a film community! Check out the photos below for some sense of how much fun we had.

All photos are by Minji Kim of Pokdo Studios, for the JHU Film Contest and Festival and JHU Film and Media Studies.
