Now through Labor Day (September 7, 2026) the American Visionary Art Museum welcomes all active-duty military personnel and their families to visit the museum for FREE through the Blue Star Families program!

Simply present relevant identification to the front desk of the main building upon arrival, and enjoy your expedition into our visionary wonderland. ✨

Things to know 💡

• Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card.

• If the active-duty member is deployed or otherwise unavailable, a dependent family member with the appropriate ID card (DD Form 1173 ID Card, or DD Form 1173-1 ID Card) may still use the program.

• Up to 5 family members can receive free admission; eligible family members include a spouse, child(ren), aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.
