Halloween is coming and Teddy Bear has a lot of big questions about what is real and what is pretend on Halloween night. Thankfully, his favorite preschool teacher, Danny Joe, knows just how to explain the sometimes scary and sometimes silly traditions of Halloween through the language of play.

Join us for a not-too-spooky, super-silly Halloween on-stage episode of Danny Joe’s Tree House, live from Creative Alliance! We’re taking a Rocky Horror Picture Show meets Svengoolie-inspired approach to make this an extra-interactive Halloween spectacular with singing, dancing, games, silliness, and plenty of opportunities to join in the fun.

One lucky little monster will get the chance to spin Tubeystein’s Wheel of Spooky Tricks & Treats! Sponsored by Shananigans Toy Shop

With profound gratitude and sorrow, Creative Alliance honors a true champion of art, community and creativity: Claudia Bismark.
Her vibrant spirit, laugh and flame red hair enlivened every space she entered. She brought the germ of an idea she had at the Walters Art Museum to Creative Alliance during her years on our Board of Trustees – a roving series of art and dining activations around the region – that has become one of the crown jewels of Creative Alliance’s calendar and Baltimore’s cultural year as well. Her vision that Creative Alliance and future co-chairs developed has introduced people to new ideas, art forms, foods and friends for 27 years.
The loss of Claudia is a loss for our whole community and our thoughts are with her loved ones at this time.

With over 25 years of monumental lantern making and spectacle-creating, our diverse communities come together again. Look out for some new friends like our resident artist Nicoletta de la Brown Nicoletta Daríta | Artist & Curandera Chamána and her illuminated dream pony.
