The scene is set when a group of people gathered in a country house cut off by a snow storm discover, to their horror, that there is a murderer in their midst. Who can it be? One by one the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts until at the last, nerve-shredding moment, the identity and the motive are finally revealed.

The Mousetrap is the longest-running play in the history of London's West End.

Dear Cast, Crew, and Family of Memorial Players,

It is with great sadness that I must inform you that we will be postponing our production of Godspell until further notice while we combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus. I'm sure many of you have now heard that the best possible course of action is to flatten the curve; that is stay home and avoid contact with others through social distancing practices so that our health care system is able to manage the outbreak. We would not be doing our duty as citizens of Baltimore, or the world for that matter, if we hosted a large gathering no matter how joyous the occasion would be.

An integral part of the story of Godspell is that of community. In times like these, I am reminded by the strength of our community. Our resilience and persistence in the face of a pandemic will prove that show will indeed go on--somehow. I have already talked to some cast members about virtual rehearsals so that when the threat of COVID-19 has past we may gather again to make ART.

In the meantime, here is what I as your director ask of you: stay creative! Sing the songs, rehearse choreography, be silly, love each other. Your hard work has not gone to waste, nor will it.

I am so proud of you. Stay strong, stay healthy, and stay creative. And remember "it's all for the best"

- Kateri

Hey Everyone! Thanks for coming out to see ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and a special thank you to everyone in the cast and crew and to the many many family members and friends that made the show possible.

Now that the show is over I hope you’ll consider coming and joining us at Memorial Episcopal Church! We’d love to have you in the choir, in the acolyte choir, as a reader, or just a parishioner. Services are at 8 and 10:30 am.

And watch this space for some exciting news about a Memorial Players Summer Camp!

After 8+ months of planning and 4 months of rehearsal and set construction, we say goodbye to Kansas and Oz. Thank you to all who shared in our journey over the rainbow - whether on stage, backstage, in the audience, or from a far. We hope you found love, joy, and a sense of family through our production. While this seems like an ending, there were so many new beginnings - we learned new things, made new friends, and found a little (or a lot of) courage! We ask that you all continue to pass those blessings forward, spreading love, joy, and family well beyond the time we spent together. And when you need a pick me up, just click your heels together three times (or take the light rail/metro/Uber), Memorial Episcopal Church and Memorial Players are here with open arms and hearts. There is no place like home. Til we meet again. (Message from the Director)
