Two same weekday; two rolls of This week we had surprise drop offs. Though Kodachrome is no longer able to be processed, it’s still exciting to open cameras that haven’t been opened since they were loaded in the 1950s and 60s and find film. The last rolls of this beautiful stock were processed fifteen years ago. The zebra stripe edge on the one canister indicated it was purchased with processing included. Likely in the camera since the mid to late 1950s based on the film itself, previous owner history and the in mint condition that it came out of! Some folks out there are processing the Kodachrome a special way to get a bnw image. It doesn’t always work. This film is different than color negative film which cannot be processed to reveal a monotone image. On the other hand, we’ve processed BNW film from WWII that came out fine. Panchromatic film is inherently much more stable than color dyes. We don’t recommend shooting any expired film because the results are inconsistent and usually disappointing. Film that is recently expired is typically fine but those old rolls you bought online from some rando or found in your late uncle’s drawer may be better off in the trash! Buy a fresh roll and enjoy the richness of the images. If you ever have questions about vintage film, film cameras or other questions, we’re happy to talk with you.

It’s the Final Four at Full Circle as we continue to face off our favorite cameras customers have dropped off with us.

The Elite Eight first saw Jazz deal a crushing blow to PFS Financial CPA and its highly loyal fan base, followed by Miller Lite with a decisive victory against Super Bowl VIP Party.

Will GameCube continue its path to glory in the battle of the purple, or will recent Nintendo price increases cast a shadow on its performance and allow Jazz to strike the right notes?

And who will win the highly anticipated vice bracket between Marlboro and Miller?

Head to our stories now to vote 🎞️
