Baltimore local glass blown works, pottery, and other ceramic arts!

Had a wonderful time at Artsfest a couple weeks ago! We were enjoying ourselves in the moment and didn’t even take any pictures! But it is an amazing spot and the people that work there and volunteer there always make it a great experience. Since then life has gotten in the way of making, but I’m back on it and gearing up for the Howard County Craft show November 6th, 7th, and 8th! Happy fall everyone 🍁 🎃 🍂

Had an awesome day selling tools and talking clay at Clayfest DC today! My job was sponsoring the event, so I was honored to represent for Clayworks Supplies! Got to see lots of customers in person and tons of beautiful work. Looking forward to it again next year!

Commission project I had to make kitty cat cup and saucers! They turned out soooo cute 🥰 And yes, you can drink out of them without getting poked in the eye!

Some more splatterware I’ve been working on 🫟 Plates, trays, and more cat mugs! I don’t usually use underglazes on pieces like this, but they make a nice back ground for the splatter! 🪼 🪴 🐈

I’ve been digging my way out of the cold winter haze to start building up the inventory for shows this year. It’s hard to find motivation sometimes, amirite??
One way is to make new fun things! Of course, gotta keep the staples, mugs and such, but also been using new textures and decals. Playing with splattering glazes, inspired by Ralph Steadman, and creating some cute little sconces for candles. Because who doesn’t need a little light in their life!? Just writing about them is making me excited and motivated! Time to work hard and get dirty!! 🔥 🔥 🔥

Some wood fired planter sets from the Baltimore Clayworks wood kiln! Mostly naked, just kissed by fire. The glazed one is Old Ape, my favorite!
I love the randomness of the wood kiln. It’s better when everything doesn’t look exactly the same!

Towson Pottery Sale coming up soon! Friday 12/5 and Saturday 12/6! 🔥 🍄‍🟫
