Bittersweet—until next time!
What a fantastic three days VBS , Trinity Life Center in Coburn, VA. The sweetest part of this visit was seeing children and families who remembered us from 12 years ago! Because of health challenges and leadership transitions, it had been that long since we were invited back. Walking in felt like no time had passed—we were welcomed with open arms and given a huge “welcome home.” There was so much learning, laughter, and joy. We are humbled and grateful for these precious moments.

Mr. Steve the Extreme Balloonman, Srappy, and friends were a hit—sharing the Word of God in a way that was fun, memorable, and powerful. Thank you to everyone for the invitation and your wonderful hospitality. You didn’t just give us a place to serve—you left handprints on our hearts that we’ll carry forever.

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3

Joyful gift to our ears! As we rolled into the building hearing the children voices!! "Yay!!! “The balloon man is here!”..was awesome and the room buzzed with excitement. The kids eagerly participated, having fun while presenting the beautiful Gospel message, presented with a different method. Using puppets, balloons, and great audience participation everyone heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we celebrated God’s faithfulness throughout the session. We closed with a creative balloon-twisting class; parents arrived to smiling faces and many heartfelt “Thank yous.” “Children are a heritage from the Lord” (Psalm 127:3).

A huge thank you to James Boyce and Potomas Retreat Staff for the invitation to be part of your Summer Camp Retreat experience.Always a pleasure!

Greater Grace World Outreach Convention is never a disappointment! Scrappy and I have had the honor of ministering here for many years, and this past Friday and Saturday evening were such a 'blast.' As we wrapped up with a the importance of making good decisions, a wild balloon class,we packed our gear, and shared hugs and fist bumps, then we heard those beautiful words: 'See you next year!'

We are reminded of 1 Thessalonians 1:3, 'We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.' It is always a pleasure to serve this community!"

Somerset County Library! Lots of excitement as the room filled with children ready to have fun and learn! This is our third year for the kick off of Summer Reading Program. Our show today is titled "Which Pet to Get," featured quirky options like a skunk and an elephant. With the help of great audience participation, puppets, magic, balloons, and lots of laughter, we learned about the significance of making thoughtful choices. Ultimately, everyone concluded that a dog was the ideal pet! We concluded our time together with a wild and crazy balloon class, where each participant crafted their own balloon dog to take home. It was a fantastic experience! Thank you for having us! Always our pleasure!

The Princess Ann County Library Somerset County was a fantastic experience! Our show for today "Which Pet to Get" A skunk? Elephant? Hmm...With puppets,magic, balloons, and lots of laughter, we learned the importance of making good choices. Everyone decided a dog was the best choice !! Our time together ended with a fun balloon class where everyone made a balloon dog to take home! Amazing time!

Truly thankful for the invitation for Scrappy and The Extreme Balloonman to share their creative ministry, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus today! Proverbs 17:22 "A cheerful heart is good medicine," and the laughter and audience participation at the Harford County FCA ABILITIES Camp presented at Harford Community College created a delightful experience for all." What an awesome surprise it was to see our friends that was in the audience ! Thank you for the invitation!

What a wonderful, full weekend filled with laughter and excitement with amazing kids! I am deeply humbled and immensely grateful for the invitation for Scappy and the Balloon Man to minister to the children for the SAconnects 2026 General Congress Commencement Service. It's always a true blessing to meet families from all over the world who share a heartfelt mission to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and serve human needs in His name, without discrimination. We are truly grateful for the relationships that have been made throughout the years, along with seeing some of these kiddos grow up! Grateful for the journey , to make a difference!
