Save the date: Das Museum Tuch + Technik zeigt vom 16. März bis zum 22. September 2024 die Ausstellung "Color Improvisations 3": 42 großformatige Quilts, die mit ihren ausdrucksstarken Farben und geometrischen Formen an Gemälde der Moderne erinnern. Aber die kunstvoll gestalteten Exponate bestehen aus Stoffen, die mit dem Blick für gelungene Kompositionen in mühevoller Arbeit zusammengesetzt wurden. Kuratiert wurde die Ausstellung von Nancy Crow. Die Amerikanerin ist bekannt durch zahlreiche Ausstellungen, Bücher und Workshops zum Thema Quilten. Die Eröffnung ist am Freitag, 15. Due to increased interest in this event, Nancy will be giving 2 tours of her exhibition on July 19th, and reservations are now required.

Time slots are for the talk are:
Wednesday, July 19th, 2pm - 3pm
Wednesday, July 19th, 7:15pm - 8:15pm

Nancy Crow will take visitors on an informal walk about her exhibition, Sequences, Riffs, and Drawings. The talk is included with Schweinfurth admission and open to the public.

If you are attending Quilting by the Lake - you do not need to make a reservation- your spot is already reserved for the 7:15-8:15 time slot.
