The Woodbrook Players is a cohesive group of individuals that share an interest in theater. Organized in 2002, the Players stage two productions each season, showcasing one act plays, scenes, and full-length plays written by Thurber, Shirley Jackson, Lady Gregory, Robert Harling and William Shakespeare as well as local writers such as Dr. Stephen Vicchio, John DePrine, Bill Duff and Jo Sacks. Woodbrook Players also present dramatized readings of scriptures for selected worship services for Brown Memorial Woodbrook Church. We continue to consider ways to expand our horizons through training, selection of plays and personnel We provide workshops to perfect our craft which are open to anyone interested in theater. In fact, we have a policy of including and welcoming anyone who might be interested in joining the Woodbrook Players in this difficult , yet exciting task of creating live theater.
