The Green Globe Theatre, which works out of Breath of God Lutheran Church in Baltimore City, is a local theatre established in 2016 by a group college graduates interested in creating a sustainable future. The Green Globe aims to use environmentally-friendly systems to reduce it’s imprint on the environment. Many of the Green Globe’s founding members come from community college and state universit

y backgrounds, both of which rely heavily on resting production and design elements throughout their seasons. The use and reuse of standard size platforms and flat, costumes, props, and other elements will reduce the amount of new material that we consume. It is our hope to drastically reduce our own personal energy consumption by 2018 by creating a completely self sustainable space.
