A Threshold Ritual is a pause before crossing into another Space,World or realm.

In the movie the Threshold is present and they are not forced to cross it.

This is an example of how many rituals we perform throughout our lives without knowing.

In most religions a prayer is said before crossing a threshold to be protected.

In every Vampire movie they must be invited in.

The other rituals throughout the movie are just basic things we lost touch with.

Such as the Birthday being a ritual in service of your ancestors.

There’s been a lot of Questions about this movie and I understand why some may not understand it.

It was more of philosophical perspective on how much we have forgotten Spiritually.

“The thin veil between “ there are things that exist at the border between one world and another.

Even this world is liminal space, life exists between birth and death.

It is a very thin veil.
