Last night the luckless lad (his name's Larry by the way) led a rowdy crowd through six epic, far-reaching, deep-diving, and diverse pitches by our six selected pitchers at Pitch Party XIII. Each pitch was face-melting in its own way, each pitcher presented their story idea so boldly, so passionately, that we could easily see any of them grace the BROS stage in Spring 2028.

But only one can win! What will it be? Which story will ranked-choice-claw its way to the top? The voters will decide!

Who is allowed to vote for BROS' Spring 2028 show? Whoever attended the entire Pitch Party in person or virtually, or is a volunteer with BROS and watched the whole Pitch Party. Voting is open for one week and soon after, drumroll, guitar riff: the winning pitch will be announced.

A huge thank you to our venue for the night, Metro Gallery, Metro Baltimore! And a mind-numblingly large thank you to all of our pitchers, including everyone who submitted a pitch, for the thought, enthusiasm, and creativity shown. Byew byew byew!

The Big Volunteer Meeting for our fall show, The Orb of Pondering, is TOMORROW, August 15th at BROS HQ, 2950 Loch Raven Road.

Behind the scenes of every BROS production is a team of volunteers who piece by piece bring a fantastical (sometimes silly, and always massive) dream to life for our audiences. The ways to get involved range from large-scale meal planning to monstrous puppet construction, and everything in between. If you are curious about getting involved in our fall show, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more and get a taste of what is to come. Volunteers can give as much or as little time as they choose.

Stop by tomorrow, 8/15 at 3 PM to learn more about the departments and find your role!

Join us this Saturday, August 8 for the GALACTIC PREMIERE (and closing performance) of four new mini rock operas, courtesy of the 2026 Rock Opera Big Bang hackathon! Twelve people, four teams, three random generated words as prompts for each, infinite creativity and weirdness.

The journey doesn’t stop Saturday! BROS is hosting auditions for its upcoming fall production, The Orb of Pondering: A BROS Tabletopera on Sunday, August 9 and Monday, August 10 at BROS HQ. Well damn that was perfect. Thanks to everyone who came out for our American Vamp wrap party The Ottobar Monday night! That was the exact right way to cap off the American Vamp experience. Baltimore Rock Opera Society presents the 2026 Rock Opera Big Bang! Four teams of local visionaries spend one weekend writing, composing, and building explosive new rock opera masterpieces. Since 2023, the Big Bang has encouraged new creators within the BROS universe to bring their ideas to life, using a collaborative hackathon format that emphasizes speed, ingenuity, and bold ideas.

Join us to experience the galactic premiere of these new works, root for your favorite creative teams, and party with the BROS!
