This second-printing poster offers the same amazing artwork as the original at a far more affordable price! Trip or Freak is a rare collaboration between three of the most prolific and talented artists of the era: Rick Griffin, Stanley Mouse, and Alton Kelley. The poster was designed for a 1967 Halloween show at Winterland, which featured The Grateful Dead, Big Brother, and Quicksilver Messenger Service.

This original Elvis Presley poster from September 2nd, 1973, advertised The King of Rock and Roll's appearance at The Hilton in Las Vegas. It specifically promotes a special performance by popular demand that occurred at 3:00 in the morning! This poster was obtained from Ed Bonja, official Presley photographer and assistant to Manager Col. Parker. Includes LOA. This piece is 100% original with no restoration and in amazing condition! Back in 2022, another example of this poster in similar condition reached $1,560.00.

✨️ This limited-edition, uncut poster proof features artwork that ultimately was never used to advertise its intended event. Cataloged by Eric King as "FD-D16", this work was originally conceived by artist Bob Fried for a poster announcing Otis Redding's appearance at 1601 West Evans St in Denver, Colorado in December 1967. However, just two weeks before the show was scheduled to be held, Redding died in a plane crash at the age of 26. Thus, the show was canceled, and the poster never officially came to life. In the 1980s, the original film for this poster was discovered, and in the 1990s, a version of the piece was printed by ArtRock, who made an attempt to color the design in a manner consistent with the late Bob Fried's prior work for The Family Dog. This proof is one of these posters. ONLY 100 examples were printed, and this one is quite rare, being the first to ever appear in our auction!

💀 It isn't every day that we are able to offer a Grateful Dead issue in our auction that we have never seen before! This poster announced the band's appearance at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, California, on January 13th, 1978. The show was a benefit for the Pacific Alliance to "Stop Nuclear Power". ☀️ The June Mega Auction is now open for bidding! Lots will begin to close on Sunday, June 21st, at 9:00 PM ET. This rare Grateful Dead original poster promoted the band's appearance at McGaw Hall at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, on November 1st, 1973. The show was presented by Amazingrace and was the university's homecoming event for that year. This poster was printed on versions on different colored paper stock, all before the concert, this example being the rare blue variant. We have never offered another example in our auction before!

⏳️Time is running out to bid in the San Francisco Concert Poster Super Sale Auction! Lots will begin to close SUNDAY, June 14th at 9:00 PM ET.

This desirable early Grateful Dead original first printing poster is one of the most sought-after images of the Bill Graham collection. It features art by the late great Wes Wilson and an image that is associated with one of the most iconic bands of the period, with support from the Chicago Blues man, the late great Otis Rush. All OP-1 posters of this issue are extremely light-sensitive. The blue color tends to fade to gray very quickly, as has happened with this example. However, collectors in the know are aware that the BG-51 OP-1 very seldom surfaces at auction. It is often hunted down by the community, and we get numerous requests for it on a regular basis!

This Victor Moscoso Doors image is a favorite among Avalon Ballroom collectors, and it's difficult to find unrestored original examples like this one, in ANY condition. The lyrics "Break on Through to the Other Side" appear above the artist's vision of expanding consciousness. A great Moscoso poster, A MUST HAVE for Doors fans!
