One thing (of many) I’m still trying to learn, or make a habit- WRITE IT DOWN! I think I do so many things every day as “little experiments” but in the most unscientific way. Maybe being unable to repeat this green because I dumped an unspecified amount of my pink Lava glaze into Emerald and mixed it up will finally be the teacher I need. Or maybe I’ll run a bunch of tests and actually nail it! Anyway- cheers to my favorite green ever. I have enough left to make probably 20 mugs/tumblers. I like it with the blue - this blue is called Evening Shade (it’s commercial- I didn’t make it or name it).

Some of the pieces I’ll be restocking on my website, for my shops and upcoming shows. I can’t wait to share the Fall/Holiday show lineup with you all. The artist’s set (first photo) have been the surprise hit this summer, along with the large vases, wall pockets and of course mugs and planters!

I saw a post the other day about using little handmade cups for everything and I agree. This one is perfect for espresso, juice, wine, a tea light…any little bits that need a pretty home. (As a mom of a ballerina I’m thinking hair accessories.)

Winterthur Artisan Market was just amazing. Of course the people are what make a show- my neighbors were so kind and generous in sharing their experience at the show (it’s an artist favorite!) and all of the patrons were so enthusiastic and supportive. Sunday was our wedding anniversary, so I got to choose a beautiful set from Alex Hossick Collections and the organizers sent us on our way with a lovely bag of treats including this work-of-art cookie in the last slide. Even with the heat and smoke the first two days, it was the best. 🧡

My first ever pineapples out of the kiln right in time for Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library and I’m thrilled!! Sab Barbe you requested these and they have been in the works since! 🍍🍍🍍

Today I’m packing for Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library for a dream of an art market- historic home, gorgeous gardens, wine tastings, food trucks and artists all bringing their best work. The lily is from my neighbor’s garden, in one of my new Morning Glory vases. The following slides are from Winterthur and past years markets.
