This morning I was in the studio early to frame Into The Clouds, Point Lobos for the upcoming Big Show at Creative Alliance that opens July 17.

My late husband Dan loved framing my work. I always feel his presence in the studio when I use his tools and carry on.

Into The Clouds, Point Lobos, 2026, archival pigment print on vellum, with gold leaf on verso, 18x12”, 20x16” framed.

In the studio today to gild Into The Clouds, Point Lobos for Creative Alliance’s The Big Show opening July 17.

In March I had the incredible experience to visit Carmel-by-the-Sea and this iconic landscape that inspired Edward Weston, a 20th century master photographer.

Into The Clouds, Point Lobos, 2026, 18x12.5”, archival pigment print on vellum, with white gold leaf on verso.

I’m in the studio today to print and varnish a 12x18” vellum print of Into The Clouds, Point Lobos. I’ll be back on Sunday to gild the back of the print in white gold.

Looking forward to seeing this print at Creative Alliance’s Big Show opening July 17!

Eastern Columbine, the newest addition to the Ephemeral/s series of cyanolumens created from foraged native ephemerals.

I didn’t get out on a backpacking trip this weekend, due to the very wet weather. But, I did find this in my archives from a Memorial Day weekend backpacking trip in the southern section of Shenandoah National Park from 2021.

I had a wonderful studio visit this afternoon with a new collector who wanted to surprise his wife with a gilded vellum print she fell in love with at the Mill Centre Artists Spring Open Studios last month!

The Light Inside The Dark, 1/10, archival pigment on vellum with white gold leaf, 12.5x18”
