Miryokucon 2026 Announces Rescheduled Dates – December 11-13, 2026
Convention commits to enhanced experience with extended timeline
BALTIMORE, MD – August 6, 2026 – Miryokucon organizers recently announced the official rescheduling of the 2026 convention to December 11-13, 2026. The decision follows extensive evaluation of the current economic conditions and successful negotiations with venue partners to ensure the highest quality experience for all attendees.
We remain deeply committed to delivering an unforgettable convention," said Ashley, the Convention Chair. "Community enthusiasm has never been stronger, and this additional timeframe allows us to convert that momentum into a fully realized event that meets the expectations our supporters deserve."
Why the Change?
The postponement to December provides several strategic benefits:
● More Time to Connect: An extended runway between now and the event gives prospective attendees additional opportunity to budget for and secure their participation
● Otakon Momentum: Following our presence at Otakon 2026, we're capitalizing on increased visibility within the community to drive stronger registration numbers:
● Enhanced Programming: The additional preparation time enables expanded programming, improved guest coordination, and a more robust exhibitor hall
● Optimal Venue Partnership: We secured agreements with venue partners that align with our long-term sustainability goals for Miryokucon

Hotel Accommodations: The official convention hotel, the Lord Baltimore Hotel, has confirmed room blocks for the new dates. Attendees are encouraged to reserve accommodations soon, as group rates are time-sensitive.
An updated room reservation link will be coming soon.
Community Response: "Our community has shown incredible support throughout this planning journey," the team noted. "Reaching over 10,000 unique viewers across our social platforms with overwhelmingly positive feedback confirms we're on the right track. This decision reflects our commitment to delivering the event our community deserves."
Attendee Options: Currently registered attendees have automatically been transferred to the new dates. While we hope that you will continue to the new dates with us, any registered attendee who is unable to attend the event in December may request a refund, no questions asked, but sending an email to [email protected] with the name on the card used, the last four digits of the card, and the date you registered for Miryokucon.
How can you help: We are a 501c3 Educational Charity, and Miryokucon is only in year two of its five year building plan. Events like ours depend upon pre-registration of attendees and dealers in order to ensure adequate funding for the event. Please consider pre-registering as soon as possible. Additionally you can help through these other options.
