Baltimore's Oldest LGBT/Q-plus Chorus

Since 1984, the mission of The Baltimore Men's Chorus (BMC) has been to provide local men the opportunity to enjoy learning and singing choral music and at the same time have fun socializing with each other. The BMC welcomes all singers comfortable singing in the male TTBB registers - regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. We have performed in

many locations including New York City, DC, Seattle, Philadelphia , Annapolis and, of course, Baltimore. The BMC is very proud of its long tradition of providing the Baltimore community and beyond with a wide variety of exciting choral music. We are Maryland's oldest and longest-running LGBT/QIA+ performing organization.

Dearest gentle reader,

One cannot remain blind to the indignities of fate that have conspired against many. Between winter weather, seasonal illness, and the treacherous icebound automobile, not all were able to attend the affair of the season: BMC’s New Member Mixer.

And so, it is with great interest that this author reports the Baltimore Men’s Chorus shall keep its doors open, welcoming new members through February 23rd.

Redemption, it seems, remains possible.
