Alright, fellow jewelry lovers… I need to know 👀

Which one of these little beauties would you choose?

These are some of the bits and bobs I’ve collected over the years as a jewelry seller and collector- antique and vintage spring rings, bolt clasps, dog clips, and other fabulous little findings in 14K and 18K gold.

And before anyone asks: NO, I will not melt them, ever 😂

I have a soft spot for these little pieces of jewelry history. The craftsmanship, the mechanisms, the patina, the fact that they were once part of something else… I love all of it.

There is something about seeing a beautiful antique finding headed for the melt pile that makes a little piece of my soul leave my body 😭

I have a confession…

Every once in a while I look around my jewelry box and realize I’ve bought a few too many treasures. Mama needs to fund her jewelry addiction, and sometimes that means making impossible decisions.

Which means someone gets a very good deal.

This 14K yellow gold seed pearl crescent pendant is approximately 39mm from the top of the bail and I’m offering her for not much over scrap at $350 tonight only.

Tomorrow, if she hasn’t found a new home, she’ll be headed to the melt pile (cue my internal heartbreak).

I’d much rather see her around someone’s neck than in a refinery.

Sometimes preserving a little piece of history starts with one person saying, “Mine.”
