Having money, not knowing how to manage it, struggling to access resources, building wealth, or simply preparing for unexpected car repairs, rent, groceries, and household emergencies can create tremendous stress.
TODAY, we have THREE financial service providers onsite offering resources, financial products, practical tools, and financial wellness cheat sheets to help individuals and families make informed decisions.
⚖️ RESTORATIVE JUSTICE: LET’S GO DEEPER!
When we examine offenses such as robbery, theft, domestic violence, assault, and handgun-related crimes, we must also explore the circumstances surrounding them.
Financial hardship, the reputation associated with money, unmet needs, and survival instincts can sometimes influence harmful decisions. These factors do not excuse crime, but understanding them is essential to prevention, accountability, healing, and public safety.
Today, we’re slowing down to discuss SOLUTIONS, not just problems!
We also want to explore how lawmakers, philanthropic leaders, and funding institutions can better support community-based organizations serving individuals and families facing financial instability.
Because access to financial education, emergency resources, employment opportunities, and wealth-building tools can help create pathways toward stability and safer communities.
