I turned my poem into a song…

“i dream of fields of violets
stretching leagues beyond leagues
a place so near to silence
where evil thoughts recede and all things good breed
nobody considers violence
i know love grows in these fields
flowers...violets...
love symbols sweet singing silence,
in the 9th octave harmonizing
i know love grows in these fields
and i wish to kiss her
her name is summer but i dream of her sister
she's a flower and i dream of her pistil
trying to be gentle but plucking her into a fistful
our first encounter and i told her i missed her
i just had to hold her
she was blushing a bright purple corolla
flowers...violets...
sweet singing silence in the 10th octave harmonizing
to silent drums drumming
a mute bassist strumming

“an angel playing her trumpet
i dream of fields in heaven where spring showers me with kisses
and i day dream at night
life and i have a date and i won't miss it
silence is heavy...
but in my dreams i'm hercules still refusing to lift it
silence is talking so listen
in one sky there is a fire called sunshine
in the other is a light that ebbs love
the true essence of one's life
love is a field of violets
love is a day dream scored with silence
so don't wake me
stop it don't shake me
i'm in a real reality
more real than the reality i'm forced to believe
a mid summer's day dream in mid spring”
