This covers the Rumble again, but I thought it was important to share and express my gratitude. I never want my job or my position to be a “female” thing or a “woman” thing but I always want to keep in perspective how monumental and amazing each moment is in my career. To be the only woman standing out there, for my first ever main event at the Royal Rumble, although might not be a big deal for some, was amazing to me because very few get to say they’ve done the same. To be part of something and work with so many people I respect and admire is just icing on the cake.
I’m not out there either because I’m a woman, but because I’m good at my job. But, I want to be mindful and grateful of all I get to do. To be a small part of something so large, to come from where I’ve come from, was incredible. I’m so grateful. I will not disappoint anyone who has believed in me or given me opportunities. I’m blessed, and it’s fun to know there’s so much work to do. What a life.
