Celebrate the Season with Art and Music at A&E Design
Friday, December 6th

An evening of art, music, and holiday cheer. They will be featuring the work of Clare Jurczak of Elk River Clay, a small-batch ceramic studio established in 2021 in Worden, Montana. Clare creates functional stoneware pottery on the potter’s wheel, decorating each piece with clay slips, stenciled designs, or glazes. Inspired by Montana’s diverse landscapes and wildlife, her work seeks to capture the essence of local ecosystems and geology—from the sagebrush prairie to the high country mountains. Designed with a minimalist style for everyday use, Clare hopes that Elk River Clay pieces bring beauty, purpose, and a sense of place to daily kitchen rituals. Elk River Clay

Join us at the next Billings ArtWalk, Friday, December 6th, from 5–9 p.m.! We're honored to showcase local ceramic artist Clare Jurczak from Elk River Clay.

Clare's functional stoneware, adorned with stenciled designs and warm, earthy glazes, is inspired by Montana's natural beauty. Live music kicks off at 5:30 p.m., with refreshments to enjoy as you explore her creations.

Howdy, Howdy! New works are live!

It's been a minute since I offered up some work on my web shop! I'm back in the studio getting ready for the Bozeman Made Fair in a few weeks, but I wanted to put these hardy little coffee cups out into the world. They're a joy to make and are of all my favorite designs at the moment. These mugs make sure you don't overdose your morning coffee and keep it hot until you reach the bottom.

Fruits of my labor lately

I'm packing up these pots, dusting off my boots, and road tripping to western Montana tomorrow to join the . I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to sleeping in a tent under the stars on a cattle ranch, it's been too long--- I'm feeling too domesticated!

I was drawn to attend this festival as it's organized with the unique goal to connect community through the lens of what it means to steward our working lands and celebrate agriculture, conservation, and rural communities. I'm joining a stunning lineup.of Western artists, musicians and chefs serving up the best of Montana. Whether you're joining or not I'd love to invite you to check out the work of the . Maybe it will challenge or inspire your thoughts on agriculture in the West!

I've never had this many finished pieces at once to be able to capture photos like these and it makes me so happy to see them all together!

This collection will also be offered on Saturday from 10-2pm at the Billings Audubon Center.

Thank you thank you for all the love and support this Holiday season. I'm really proud of the long days and late nights I spent creating this body of work.
