Golden Fleece Spinners' Society Golden Fleece Spinners’ Society is a hand spinning guild that meets in Baldwinsville, NY. The organization was known as “No Name Guild” until October of 1980.

A Brief History: The first meeting of the guild was held on March 15, 1980 in Baldwinsville, New York. At that time “The Golden Fleece Spinners’ Society” was adopted. We host the annual CNY Fiber Frolic at Beaver Lake Nature Center. Our guild members also demonstrate hand spinning at several fairs and festivals in New York including the CNY Fiber Festival in Bouckville, the Finger Lakes Fiber Festival in Hemlock, the Golden Harvest Festival in Baldwinsville and the NYS Fair.

Tomorrow, June 20th is our June meeting at the Grace Episcopal Church in Baldwinsville from 10-2. It's our annual potluck lunch so bring a dish to pass along with your place setting & a drink. We'll have our meeting, Show & Tell, then feast on all of the good stuff and spin together after. It's a great time and hope to see you all there!

REMINDER 1: Our May meeting will be held from 10-2 at the North Syracuse Library, located at 100 Trolley Barn Lane, North Syracuse, NY 13212. There is a parking lot on the side of the building, and there is on-street parking on Trolley Barn Lane. The room we are using is just inside the front door on the right.

REMINDER 2: We will not provide coffee at this meeting. There is a small kitchenette with water, and there are drinking fountains. Please bring your own beverage and remember your lunch.

⭐️Tomorrow is our annual fund-raising auction!

⭐️Each member is asked to contribute at least two items which can be yarn, fiber, handicraft books (knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, etc), eggs, baked goods, preserves, plants, fiber equipment and other spinning, knitting and weaving-related items.

⭐️Bring your cash, checkbook or use PayPal to join in the fun.

⭐️Plan on arriving early to display your donations and get a good view of all the items prior to the start of the auction.

⭐️See you tomorrow!
