Darrin also played here on the Baldwin WI courses a lot back in the day, when it was PGI. Darrin and Ellie Had a long history together.
Splat Tag™️ ran games on the Baldwin WI courses from 2000-2003 and then Darrin came back and bought the Baldwin land in 2012. That's when Darrin started running Paintball and Airsoft out here under the Twin Cities name. The Baldwin courses go back with Paintball Games to 1988.

Here’s a crazy fun fact that not many people know about the long history of the Paintball courses here in Hudson, WI—some of the oldest and longest continuously running Paintball fields in the world!

Paintball has been played here since 1985, originally under one of the early franchisees of Survival Games™️, operating as Twin Cities Survival Game, Inc. The founder of Splat Tag, Inc., Darrin Johnson, started playing Paintball in 1986 and spent a lot of time on these courses back then. He later started Splat Tag™️ and Paintball Park™️ in Maplewood, MN, but quickly outgrew that location. In 2001, he moved operations to these Hudson courses and took over running Paintball games here.
