Next up in our staff introductions is Amelia Murray! Amelia will be the assistant director and director of ballet programs at Baldwin City Creative Arts. She danced in Baldwin from the age of 2 1/2 through high school and began her teaching career there. She is excited to bring her experience and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Performance degree from the University of Oklahoma to the new studio!

Dear BADV Students, Families and Community,
After 16 years of dedication, passion, and countless memories, I am writing to share some bittersweet news with all of you. It is with mixed emotions that I announce the decision to sell Baldwin Academy of Dance and Voice. This journey has been an incredible one, filled with growth, joy, and the nurturing of countless talents within our community.
While it's not easy to bid farewell to something that has been such an integral part of my life for so long, I am confident that this decision is the right one. Over the years, we have built a thriving community centered around the arts, fostering creativity, discipline, and a love for expression in all its forms. It's been an honor and a privilege to be a part of each student's journey, witnessing their growth and achievements firsthand.
As we embark on this new chapter, I am delighted to announce that as of July 1, 2024, Angela Murray will be stepping into the role of owner and director of Baldwin City Creative Arts. Angela brings with her a wealth of experience, a deep appreciation for the arts, as well as a commitment to upholding the values that have always been at the heart of our academy.
I have every confidence that Angela will continue to nurture and inspire our students, maintaining the high standards of excellence that Baldwin Academy of Dance & Voice is known for. Her passion for dance and music, coupled with her dedication to the growth and development of each individual student, make her the perfect fit to lead Baldwin City Creative Arts.
To our students, parents, staff, and supporters: I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and dedication over the years. It has been an incredible privilege to be a part of this community, and I am immensely grateful for the memories we have shared and the bonds we have formed.
As I take this next step in my journey, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to have been a part of something so special. I look forward to watching Baldwin City Creative Arts flourish under Angela's leadership, and I am excited to see what the future holds for each and every one of our students. I am ecstatic and honored to announce that I will be an instructor at Baldwin City Creative Arts, and I will share in the excitement of each dance year with our students and families.
This is not farewell, but instead a thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives, and for entrusting me with the privilege of guiding you on your artistic journey. I will carry the memories and the lessons learned during my time at Baldwin Academy of Dance & Voice with me always and cherish the growth and dedication of all whom were a part of BADV! I am truly and always will be BADV PROUD!
