It's not too late to register for Theatre Boot Camp. The staff met today and this is going to be an incredible camp! We will also be jump starting to some very exciting opportunities in the fall! Awesome opportunities for all the theatre minded students!

Kids Beat! Thank you all, for the extra rehearsals, working together, being the collection of unique individuals you are. You have no idea how much I love being in front of you so I can then get out of your way while you show off that crazy talent!

Vibes, 2 xylophones, 5 marimbas, drum set, timbales, many different accessory percussion pieces, congas, bongos, bass guitar, piano, amps and speakers... Moving equipment, setting up, rehearsing, loading, unloading, setting up, performing, loading, unloading, setting up (showcase next). Then...performing, moving, setting up... to those who stuck with us, THANK YOU! To our truck driver, Coach Hammonds, you rock! To Ethen Moore, what in the world would I do without you♥️

Tomorrow at 11:30 in the downtown courtyard, come out and hear the fabulous Kids Beat performers of The Studio Arts Center. They'll be playing blues, Latin jazz, rock and more.

If you need to fix the end of a hard week, spend a couple of hours at the end of the day on Friday afternoon with 28 kids grades 3-11. We had a very intense Kids Beat rehearsal and they were awesome. From cleaning up after themselves following our pizza snack to straightening up the rehearsal room before leaving, they showed a level of maturity that i hadnt seen before. The rehearsal went great as well!

You can see them perform at Homefest on May 9 at 11:30 and The Studio's showcase, May 12 at The Studio Arts Center, 6:30 pm.
