Good morning Friends and Customers of Man Bites Dog Emporium, We are having a 20% off of comic book back issues and books this Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
Man Bites Dog is planning to retire at the end of the month, however the store will continue on as your source of comic books, action figure and other popular culture items!
Please come out and support the Stockdale 27th Comic and collectible Show on Saturday March 18, 2023! Free admission, free parking and more. 10AM to 4PM.

The entire shipment has been delayed 24 hours. Thank you for your understanding and please be careful in the wet weather!

Good morning Friends and Customers of Man Bites Dog Emporium, Happy New Year!
We have Big News today, Man Bites Dog Emporium will retire at the end of March, 2023. The store will be closed as Man travels another path of enlightenment. We have been doing business with the wonderful Nerd community of Bakersfield since Peabody's Book Store on Edison Highway, back in the early nineties. We will not disappear but rather make appearances at local special events, such as the Big Kern County Fair and other Collector cons and shows.
We had a very successful response to our 20% off on nearly everything sale for the Christmas shopping season, we will continue the sale into the new year. The shop will continue to get new product through the middle of March. We will have all the new comics through the first week of March.
Thank you as it has been a pleasure to serve you. We will be open Monday January 2, from 10 to 5 and back to our regular hours on Tuesday January 3.

Good rainy morning friends and customers of Man Bites Dog Emporium, we wanted to inform you that all of this week's new Marvel and Independent comics will be on the shelves when we open at 11:00AM today. The big title of the week is Mighty Morphin Power Rangers vs. TMNT series 2 #1 will be available, along with many different variant covers!
