Bakersfield's Nutcracker Ballet

Our 46th annual production of The Nutcracker is quickly approaching, and we are working with The Civic Dance Center Parent Guild to raise funds for The Nutcracker Orchestra. Our production is unique in that we are one of just a few companies that performs with a live orchestra. The harmonious collaboration between live music and ballet has long been recognized as a powerful artistic combination and is a special quality we want to continue to offer our dancers and community.

Please take a few minutes to look over this information. If you are so inclined, please make a tax deductible donation to continue this wonderful tradition. Also, please share this information with friends and/or family who share an interest in the arts and would like to support this event.

Many donations make this happen. Of course, we love the large donors, but we have learned from experience that no amount is too small and many different donor levels make this artistic collaboration possible. Please feel free to contact a member of the Parent Guild or a Board Member of Bakersfield City Ballet if you need more information. If necessary, a paper copy if the packet can be made available at the front desk of the studio.
