I have been VERY busy, as many of you know, so I have not had the chance to create for the sake of creating in a long time. But my students at .creative.works and their willingness to push themselves out of their comfort zones and explore free creative will has inspired me to play again!

I’ve had this idea rolling around in my brain for a while, so I started to FAFO during the Open Build Sessions with my students. If I can keep from getting distracted from all their awesomeness, maybe I will finish it🪴 🫣

My wild creative journey started in my home shop…just me, a welder, and a lot of fooling around and finding out (F.A.F.O. 🤣)

But now, it’s something bigger than me and my own creative journey…

I recently opened, Meraki Creative Works, a welding and creative innovation studio, where people walk in not knowing how to weld, but walk out with something they built with their own hands!

The coolest part? I get to watch that moment happen over and over again, and it sets my soul on fire! 🔥🔥🔥

Turns out, when you give people the opportunity to F.A.F.O., they surprise themselves with what they can really do…build something real.

“Where have these been all my life?” — me, 30 seconds after using these.

Just put quick connects on my torch setup and now there’s no going back. Setup + breakdown is stupid fast now. Traveling with gear for demos and trainings just got a whole lot easier 🔥🔥🔥
