Yvonne Cavanagh is BHSs ceramics teacher and one of her projects this year was to have students from my daughters elementary school draw pictures so Yvonne’s students could recreate them with clay!

My daughter’s picture was so cute, and the high school student who was assigned her picture did an incredible job! This artwork brought my kid so much joy. She loves when the BHS students visit her school, but this was even more special for her since she got to collaborate with one.

Such a special experience made possibly by a fearless teacher!

Can we take a moment to celebrate Jae? For Pride month and for being the best employee I could have asked for?!

Art with Heart had 2 events today during the same time. Jae spent Monday helping me prep for one and then spent yesterday getting ready for the second event so it would be a success.

Today she spent half the day at a vendor fair meeting new people and making connections then came to the studio and hosted 2 kids classes on figure drawing and closed up shop for the night! This is just a sample of how she shows up for her job everyday 💖

I don’t know what I would do without her and her dedication to our mission at Art with Heart.💖
