Cervical Cancer was difficult. I’m still traumatized by the experience and all the feelings that come with the word.
Losing your ability to carry a child when you didn’t even plan to ever get pregnant again is a strange place to be. I think it was the loss of the choice for me and feeling that my body had retaliated against me for some reason.
This piece is rough around the edges, scraped and scratched but still beautiful. Just like those of us who have gone through anything like this.
