I’ve been trying to figure out how to explain why her death feels so damn personal. 💔
It’s a little strange to grieve someone you’ve never actually met, but maybe that’s the magic of Dolly. She somehow made us feel like we did know her.
I heard a friend say “She never had a daughter of her own, but she raised millions of us.” 🥹
She taught us to dream bigger. To work hard. To be generous. To be a little ridiculous. To wear the rhinestones. To mind our business. To love people. To give back. And to never, ever apologize for being too much. 👏👏
So yeah… I’m bummed, but also incredibly grateful that we got to live in a world with Dolly Parton in it. 🦋 I even got a whole week of Dolly inspired dance parties, art projects & creates a sunset horseshoe installation at The creative entrepreneur and craft camp this year, so special.
Sooooo, creating this little pop up workshop feels like my tiny little way of processing it. 💗
Come make some art, listen to some Dolly, and celebrate the woman who gave us her heart & soul!
COAT OF MANY COLORS: A Dolly Tribute Art Workshop

Because if Dolly taught me anything, it’s that grief and glitter can absolutely coexist. ✨❤️🩹🌈
