Due to the situation currently happening downtown. The A.M session of Stage Door Academy’s workshop will be canceled for today.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County, the safety of our members and staff remains our top priority. We understand the concerns surrounding the situation currently affecting our community and want to assure you that we have implemented all safety precautions recommended by our Safety Department to help ensure everyone’s well-being.

Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close our AM program today to allow time for roadways to be cleared and for law enforcement to complete their work in the area.

At this time, our PM program will remain open as scheduled. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and take any necessary precautions to maintain a safe environment for all members and staff.

If you choose to keep your member home, we completely understand and support that decision. Your member’s absence today will not affect their membership status in any way.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Safety Department at 661-325-3730.
