Good morning to our wonderful family and friends of Haunting on Meadow Rise,

We want to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for all of your continued support over the years. It truly means the world to us! However, we regret to inform you that, unfortunately, Haunting on Meadow Rise will not be hosting a haunted house this year.

While we won't be able to scare you in our usual fashion, we still want to encourage you to check out some amazing local haunts in the area. We’ll be sharing a list of recommended spots on our page—please consider supporting these passionate creators who are working hard to bring you thrilling experiences this Halloween season.

Thank you once again for your dedication, support, and love for Haunting on Meadow Rise. We can't wait to see you again next year!

Dear friends, fans, and loyal scare-seekers,
We regret to inform you that Haunting on Meadow Rise will be taking a break this year, and we will not be hosting our annual haunted house for the 2025 season.
This was not an easy decision to make, as we know how much our Halloween tradition means to so many of you — and it means just as much to us. However, after careful consideration, we’ve decided to take this year off to rest, recharge, and plan for what’s next.
We are incredibly grateful for your continued support and the unforgettable memories we've created together over the years. We’ll miss seeing your faces (and hearing your screams!) this October, but we promise this isn't goodbye forever — just a pause.
Stay spooky, stay safe, and keep the Halloween spirit alive.
We'll be back… and when we return, you won’t see us coming.

Guys, I think we should petition for Halloween to be a month long 😩!!

In all seriousness, we want to highlight and extend our gratitude to a few special individuals. We want to thank all the helpful neighbors and volunteers, who acted as chaperones for the groups going through the haunt. We also want to extend a thank you to Sherwin-Williams, Payless Towing, 84 Lumber Company, PCL Construction, and Bakersfield Costumes for donating/providing materials necessary for the haunt production. Those of you who donated your time and money, especially our local Meadow Rise neighbors, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The joy we bring to the community would not be possible without all of your selfless help ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you to the community for showing up and and experiencing our haunt this year! Despite some trials and tests, you all continue to prove to us why we do and love what we do. We hope you and your families/friends enjoyed yourselves.

After opening for the weekend of Halloween, some local free haunts experienced incidents of vandalism, egging, even assault. Now, organizers of these attractions are questioning the future.

In solidarity with our other locals haunts and in light of recent events, we feel that this post is absolutely necessary. You may wonder why we do what we do each and every year - the answer is simple: we love putting on a safe and family-friendly Halloween event for our community to enjoy. However, safe is the key word we want to focus on. We were informed that unacceptable acts, such as deliberately hurting scare actors and destroying equipment, occurred at local haunts. For many who came out last night, you are aware that we, too, had some incidences involving blatant disrespect to our scare team in the form of touching and cursing. We do not accept or condone this behavior in any shape or form as this is suppose to be a SAFE FAMILY event. We all put in a lot of hard work and dedication to host these free haunts, and we simply ask that our community be cognizant of this when deciding to experience the haunts.

We love what we do and we know the majority of y’all love it as well, so, for that reason, we ask your help in recognizing this behavior and reporting it as soon as it occurs so that we may take prompt action before anything serious happens. We will still see you all on Halloween night as we don’t believe it’s fair to let a couple little devils ruin the fun for all. Thank you for taking the time to read. Love you all 🧡🤍
