2nd Saturday dances at Island Center Hall on hiatus due to insufficient attendance after attempts to reboot twice in 2022. On the bright side and following knee rehab, Educated Feet Studio plans to re-open Jan, 2023. Hope dancers are soon ready to return to the floor!

Educated Feet 2nd Saturday dance events at Island Center Hall resumed May, 2022. So far, 2 live music events featured Red Shift in May and Rangers in Oct. Attendance, a bit low but respectable as dancers cautiously return to the floor post pandemic. DJ events also tested, but unsupported over the summer. Back on the calendar Nov 12th and feature versatile CD compilations to keep dancing feet happy. No lessons, just get out there to practice and refresh on a spacious, wood floor. "Just Dance!" at Island Center Hall on 2nd Saturdays 7-9p! Pay $10 at the door. Details at

Educated Feet Studio remains open for private and semi-private dance instruction. Instructor is fully COVID vaccinated + booster. Accepting clients fully COVID vaccinated. If your last Pfizer or Moderna vaccine was more than 6 months ago, or your J&J vaccine was more than 2 months ago, evidence of COVID booster currently required. Please bring vaccination card to first lesson.

Please wear a safe and effective mask that completely covers nose and mouth, snug with no gaps. Ideally one of the CDC recommended, N95 or KN95. Otherwise, a 2-layer mask such as double mask cloth over surgical. Or, cloth mask with filter in pocket.

Educated Feet studio has HEPA filtered air conditioning, for safety and comfort. Hand washing and sanitizing readily available.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!

We’re all looking forward to 2021 and a much better year! One in which we can resume our usual shenanigans, especially on the dance floor!

Private and semi-private lessons will resume at Educated Feet Studio as soon as we’re in a better place in this pandemic. Small group workshops likely to follow.

Please continue to practice CDC and Dept of Health guidelines to keep safe and well. Vaccine recommended to allow us to enjoy partner dancing as early as possible in 2021!

Educated Feet Studio remains OPEN for private dance instruction, currently 2 couples max. Regular clients since June 1 and soon taking new clients. Small group workshops will be offered during phase 3 here in Kitsap County. Covid19 safety protocol in place. Temperature checks, face masks, hand washing, and sanitizer. HEPA filtered air and between lesson sanitizing.

Educated Feet offers private and semi-private (group) lessons in social partner dancing to people of all ages and skill levels. Dance styles include Waltz, Foxtrot, Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, Swing, and Lindy Hop.

Hello dancers! Educated Feet will re-open STUDIO as we enter phase 2 in Kitsap County, WA...looks like June 1st. Offering private and semi-private lessons, 4 people max in accordance with phase 2 guidelines. Clients on the books will be scheduled and then, new clients. All must have observed and practiced social distancing guidelines from CDC and Dept of Health.

The world has changed since your last dance lesson. Upon arrival, temperatures will be taken with a non-contact forehead thermometer. Please bring your own mask and wear it. Wash your hands before and after lesson. As always, hand sanitizer will be available. In addition, all areas of contact sanitized between lessons. This is Educated Feet's commitment to your health and well-being as well as mine and my family's.

From a health perspective, it’s easier to resume social dance in a controlled environment where numbers are small and hand washing, sanitizer and other protocol in place. Studio group classes/workshops and dance practices will follow as we advance phases. Eventually, group series and dance events through Parks & Recs.
