Rolling Bay Hall

As some of you may have heard, Rolling Bay Hall will be continuing to partner with local and regional community performance arts organizations like The Lesser-Known Players, Space Craft, InD Theatre, and others as well as putting on its own shows, while still being available for private events all through a new nonprofit organization called WEAVE Presents.

WEAVE Presents will be managing the space and we are so looking forward to discovering more and more local talent. We have begun offering weekly wednesday Open Mic/Open Stage nights, we've got a a Recording Artist 2-Day Intensive for kids over 13, and many more exciting events planned. Please join us over on our FB WEAVE Presents page until our website is up and running. Stay abreast of all that is happening at Rolling Bay Hall on Weave’s FB page as this page will be used less and less.

Rooted in values of inclusivity and collaboration, we believe we can attract curious minds with our intimate atmosphere, intentional performances, ethnic food and well-poured cocktails. We believe we can entice performance artists with our hospitality, respect, and above-average compensation. By connecting these curious minds and performing artists in a welcoming environment, we believe we can have a good time, re-educate ourselves and re-integrate our roots. Perhaps then, we can begin to realize the ideals that make America an experiment worth fighting for.

WEAVE Presents is a nonprofit performing arts and education organization dedicated to fostering curiosity and connection by promoting public awareness and understanding of the multi-ethnic and multi-racial cultural roots of our country. We invite audiences to uncover, remember, and honor the diverse communities that built this country and continue to make it strong and vibrant.

YOU HAVE A SECOND SHOT TOMORROW!!! What will you share?

We had a blast last week.

We're doing a doing a soft launch for Open Mic/Open Stage at Rolling Bay Hall tomorrow Wednesday, Oct 17. We're doing a soft launch for Open Mic/Open Stage every Wednesday at Rolling Bay Hall. Come get some stage time in - practice your chops in a super open, welcoming and safe environment where all talents and all people are welcome - unless they are vulgar or violent. No disrespect allowed. Live Music, Stand Up, Poetry, Slam Poetry, Monologues, Circus Arts, Dance, Readings etc. - choose your artform.

Depending on how many people show up, people get at least 15 min on stage to try new material or revisit an old passion. Signups start at 6:30. Stage time starts at 7pm and ends at 9. So 8 slots per evening. Bands are also welcome but we can only mic up to 2 people per slot.
