This week the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra will give the Bainbridge Island première of Tchaikovsky’s Sixth Symphony, the “Pathétique”! Also on the program is Kauyumari by Gabriela Ortiz, and Barber’s Violin Concerto with the incredible Yvette Kraft.

There are still tickets left for our concerts this weekend, including tomorrow’s evening’s open dress rehearsal!

This program will feature Johan Halvorsen's famous Passacaglia in G minor after G. F. Händel, Claude Debussy's charming Petit Suite for woodwind quintet, and Johannes Brahms' epic String Sextet No. 1 in B-flat Major.

All Aboard! Join the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra February 13-15 for a joyful midwinter concert that whisks you away on a journey through sound and imagination. The concert begins with Arthur Honegger's Pacific 231, a thrilling tone poem depicting the mechanical power of a steam locomotive speeding up. We are then joined by brilliant young cellist Anthony Kim (14), the winner of our 2025 Young Artists Competition, performing Joseph Haydn's graceful Cello Concerto in C major. The concert culminates in a performance of Dvořák’s exuberant Symphony No. 8 in G major, joined by members of the Bainbridge Island Youth Orchestra.
