School is back in session so it’s the perfect time to join us for our evening walks on Tuesdays! We are meeting right outside the gate in the lower campus parking lot for a 6:30 walk tonight. All ages are welcome, bring your kiddos and a friend! See you there :)

In an effort to recognize the talent of the Freeport Bagdad community and showcase the beauty that is found in and around Bagdad, we would like to invite all of the Freeport Bagdad team members as well as Bagdad community residents to enter the ‘Bagdad Through Our Eyes’ photo contest.

Simply take photos of the things that you feel make Bagdad beautiful, whether it’s a sunrise over the mountains, a saguaro cactus, a softball game or even a haul truck or other piece of equipment, we want to see Bagdad through your eyes.

Winning entries will be displayed throughout the Administration Building on Main Street, and prizes for the best photos of the mine, landscape, nature, and the town will be awarded.

Please refer to the Recording Device Policy of 06 January 2026 as to when photos can be taken, and please use best safety practices at all times when taking photographs; all photos submitted will become the property of Freeport-McMoRan Bagdad.

We look forward to seeing your submissions for ‘Bagdad Through Our Eyes’ and thank you for making Bagdad such a wonderful place to work and live.
