REMINDER: Auditions will be conducted virtually. Please prepare a one minute monologue from any theatrical genre and record yourself performing your selected piece. Send your recording to Professor Wynstra ([email protected]) by August 25th. If you need help selecting a monologue for your audition or if you have any other questions, please contact Professor Wynstra.

We are living through a moment of great change right now: social, political, and national states are being altered all around us; personal, mental, and emotional states are being altered within us. Altered States takes on this moment of transformative potential and offers a curated series of digitally presented, 21st-century monologues to demonstrate the complexity, creativity, and resilience of the human spirit when faced with extraordinary challenges. Both individually and together, these works deepen and enrich the ways we might think about change as we work our way through the altered states we live in right now.

As an organization, TEST is committed to diverse and inclusive casting. We strongly encourage performers of all abilities, gender identities, and ethnic and racial backgrounds to audition for Altered States. Auditions are open to students who are both on or away from campus during the fall semester. No theater experience necessary.

Actors who are cast in the show as well as those serving in a backstage crew position are eligible to enroll in PRF 1120: Theater Production Workshop, a two-credit course.
