"Family Time is Our Time" and we love when families come to the Ayden Historical and Arts Society. What a wonderful experience we had with Kristen Hardison, April Peed, Jettie Smith and Amy Barnett on Saturday August 15. We like to ask "What was your favorite room" and it's amazing how each of these young ladies would begin to tell us and then before finishing change their mind. As you can see from the photos, our museum has something for everyone. Have you been yet? You, too can wear a crown, a helmet, hold a doll, look up your family in a year book. Or, we'll just let you browse. Come on over.

On the way to the beaches of North Carolina from Missouri, a young lady named Ayden saw a sign to Ayden, NC. The rest is "History." Literally, the Ayden Historical Museum and Arts Society provided Ayden, her mother Jamie and her sister Liv with many enjoyable moment of knowlege about the town and the area bearing Ayden's name. Thanks to Ayden's family our town of a little over 5,000 will be shared with her friends through mugs purchased from us as well as our refrigerator magnets and an Aydenmonoply game which can be purchased for $35.

The Ayden Museum and Arts Society is always happy to welcome the future leaders of our community to learn about our history. Thanks to the visiting Pait family for taking time from their summer activities to learn about Ayden’s past.
