There are so many free events at Smith River Fest and the rock climbing wall and bounce houses are always one of the most popular. They will be in the kids zone, sponsored by Boys & Girls Clubs of the Blue Ridge, LLC., and available all day. Registration is open for the Helgramite Hustle Mud Run, presented by Martinsville Eyecare Center, at Smith River Fest. The mud run features a fun and challenging course but the best part is the awesome race shirt you get and the custom awards you have a chance to earn! We also will have a water truck to help clean you up after the race!

The concert each year is always a highlight of the day and we are so excited to have The League Of Ordinary Gentlemen performing this year on the URW Community FCU Stage. You can enjoy the activities in the morning and then visit the beer tent while taking in the concert. We are excited to welcome New College Institute (soon to be West Piedmont Higher Education Center) as the stage sponsor for the 18th Annual Smith River Fest taking place on Saturday, August 22.
