I had the idea to mount the sundial bowl on a armature that holds it along the solar plane... once I can weld again

Fantasmophone is on hold because it's meant to be a collaborative touching group build and play. Instead, I'm revisiting the seraph sundial, which is primarily a 30 inch steel dome (former wok). I'm aiming to drill 1000 holes into it, so I've tested, decommissioned, tidied, gridded, and decorated it. I can see 50ish holes per 1/12th the circle so far, so I'll keep going until I pass 84. @ Avondale, Chicago

Silver twist knot pendant, blackend, with the corners knocked off and polished. I really like the effect of undulating pulsing highlight bands.

Back at it! Made a simple fun ring tonight to get warmed up and tune the new bench. It's great to have a polishing wheel: so much faster.
