The Central Connecticut State University NAfME Collegiate Chapter is having an active fall. The exciting events continue with a special presentation by our horn teacher, Barbara Hill on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019.

**ATTENTION SENIOR FAMILIES**
For a couple years now sports teams have done senior posters that line the back hallway. They look great and become a nice keepsake after the athlete leaves Avon. We're proud to announce that our performing arts seniors now have this option too! Posters will be hung in the auditorium and taken home at the end of the year. More information will be coming from your teachers this week. Please note, the cut off date to order is October 28th. That's a hard and fast cut off. We will not extend this date but we may offer these again in the spring.

A "first" for the Avon Band Program! On 10/19/19, our 7-12 grade band performed on the turf during the halftime of the Homecoming game, and our team won 49-0.
