It is difficult to announce that Collage Club is ending after two wonderful seasons. Collage Club ultimately became too difficult to maintain while dealing with the challenges of disability. It was a pleasure to unite the art community through collage and see the beautiful things the artists of Highlands County could create, and I thank you for your support. I encourage you to consider in what ways you could unite the art community of Highlands County, and to explore what that could look like.

Also, Please please please be on the lookout for information about Heartland Cultural Alliance, Inc.'s Open Studio! The Open Studio will be a free, drop in space for the creation of arts and crafts with the free use of any and all donated supplies. If you have any art supplies that you are willing to donate for the benefit of the Open Studio, please email [email protected] to arrange drop off.

Congratulations to South Florida State College student Mia Gonzales! Mia's digital collage "Pieced Together" won the most votes in the Viewer's Choice vote for February's Collage and Mixed Media Exhibition at Heartland Cultural Alliance, Inc.. Mia won the $50 gift card to Michael's sponsored by Collage Club. Great job Mia, thanks for sharing your art with the community! 👏🎨✨️🎉👑

A fun and interesting Found Poetry meeting! We came up with all kinds of poems, haikus, lyrics, and meditations today in Collage Club. Our theme is always just to get the juices flowing -- let it take you wherever your creativity flows! We can't say enough good things about the Art Community in Highlands County.
